After being prompted by one of my (gym loving super fit) closest friends to check out some new sportswear for her, I am pleased to say it wasn’t as depressing as I initially thought it might be.
I remember when you could only buy work out gear up to a size 14/16 making things very difficult for a curvy girl to get into the gym and get fit, or maybe just fitter, but still look half decent. To my delight I there are now lots of brands who cater for those gorgeous slim gym bunnies (such as my friend who this feature is for) but also women like me who just want to give it a go or get back into exercising after having a baby.
Sports brand collaborations like Stella McCartney, Mary Katrantzou and Rita Ora for Adidas are just genius. Kate Hudson has also launched her brand of sassy gym wear Fabletics. Kate’s brand have an introductory offer where you can buy a whole outfit for £22, but bear in mind you only have one hour to take advantage of this so when you sign up make sure you are ready to shop! Of course you will see the ever dependent Nike appearing in the selection but also some surprises from M&S and New Look.
Whatever your reason for needing these clothes, even if it’s just for your sport luxe fix, the full selection of styles, sizes, colours and price points including links to purchase is on my Pinterest site click here. Most of the brands stock up to a size 22 with Evans and Simply Be up to a 32, which means hopefully those that want to get some exercise in, can do so in style.
