How stunning does my client look in her bespoke hand made bridesmaid dress! It’s such an honour to celebrate a friends special day as part of the wedding party, her first duty as one of the many beautiful bridesmaids was to find her own dress and shoes. The two criteria given were navy dress and nude shoes, brilliant simple instructions from the bride but still a little overwhelming. After sourcing her dress I stepped in to help finish off the look with some wedding worthy nude shoes.
May Johnson, 24 works in the freelance art department at the Doctor Who studios in Cardiff. When May asked me to help find her some nude bridesmaid shoes I was delighted, as you know from Part 1, I just love to shop even if it’s not for me. My personal styling service can also work for personal shopping, as May had a very specific requirement all I needed to do was find her some different options.
May was impressed with the amount of styles I found for her, she commented “Wow, you are so good at this! How did you find so many!”. When working with clients, where it’s appropriate, I save images on Pinterest so they can peruse the ideas in their own time and follow through to the stores site if they want more pictures or details. You can see the options I saved for May here.
After ordering a few of the styles from the selection to try, May chose this gorgeous pair of Locket Suede Cross Strap Platform sandals from Topshop.
I love that the bride gave her aides the freedom to chose their whole look, it allowed all the bridesmaids to remain true to their style, meaning they all looked comfortable and confident with their individuality, what a joyous sight. The boys don’t look bad either! Here are a few more pictures of the big day.
